Is anybody familiar with the works of the venerable Robert Ludlum? If so, have you ever noticed and/or pondered upon the ridiculous nature of every one of his titles? Here are a few examples: The Prometheus Deception - 2000 * The Hades Factor - 2000 * The Matarese Countdown - 1997 * Scorpio Illusion - 1993 * The Icarus Agenda - 1988 * The Matlock Paper - 1987 * The Aquitaine Progression - 1984 * The Parsifal Mosaic - 1982 * The Chancellor Manuscript - 1977 * The Gemini Contenders - 1976 * The Rhinemann Exchange - 1974 * The Scarlatti Inheritance - 1971 Oh man! Are they ridiculous to anybody else!? I think they're hilarous. In fact, I once made a long list of phony Ludlum titles, but I doubt I can find that document... Care to share any ideas? ...
